Antalya City Blog Attended the 14th National Tourism Congress in Kayseri



Antalya City Blog was in  Kayseri for the 14th National Tourism Congress. Last week, Antalya City Blog's successful author Ismail Karay�n  was in Kayseri to follow developments in Congress.



The 14th National Tourism Congress

The 14th National Tourism Congress was held between 05-08 December 2013 at Erciyes University in Kayseri, and hosted by the Faculty of Tourism. This conference is unique in design with a focus on Best Practices and examples of successful tourism businesses , as well as offering practical advice on how to succeed in the cultural tourism industry. It will also provide delegates essential industry information such as ideas on training, product development and marketing.


Prof. Dr. Seyhmus Baloglu, Prof. Dr. Yuksel Ekinci, Prof. Dr. Dogan Gursoy,  Prof. Fevzi Okumus, and Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Uysal participated as an invited speaker.

According to Ismail Karay�n "The Congress theme is "Innovation in Tourism", respectively. However, there was no a lot of work in the name of innovation. We might need to wait a bit for the innovation and productivity. So it would be wrong to say that a congress with the theme coherent. However, in general it was a prestigious congress and it was a good opportunity for promotion of Kayseri".
